Rubén Miranda Gonçalves holds a Doctorate in Law, a Master in Law from Public Administrations and Institutions and a law degree, with a bachelor's degree, with an excellent rating in the degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
Postgraduate in Security and National Defense Studies from the University of Santiago de Compostela - CESEDEN.
He is currently a student in the postdoctoral program in Constitutional Law at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
He is a hired professor at the International University of Rioja, where he is currently coordinator of the Master in Human Rights.
He taught in the Master in Security, Peace and International Conflicts at the University of Santiago de Compostela and in the Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration and Management and Economics at the University of La Laguna, Tenerife.
He was a visiting professor at the University of São Paulo, Damásio Educacional, Centro Universitario Curitiba (Brazil), University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, University of Chile and Università Degli Studio Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria (Italy).
He attended and participated in more than thirty seminars and congresses of national and international scope, giving lectures at different universities, in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, Mexico and Uruguay.
He is the author of more than forty scientific articles, in national and international magazines and books. He was director of several congresses, seminars and symposia and director of several works published in Spain, Portugal and Brazil.
He is also an evaluator and member of the scientific committee of several national and international legal journals (Spain, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Chile).
